Jack Link's Distribution Facility Expansion

Jack Link’s recently completed a major expansion at its distribution facility in Underwood, Iowa. The project added 100,000 square feet of conditioned space, featuring a 94-foot tall, rack-supported Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) with 28,000 pallet positions. This expansion also includes a new conventional loading dock with 14 dock positions, designed to increase capacity and improve efficiency.
Construction was carried out while the existing 380,000-square-foot facility remained operational, ensuring no disruptions to ongoing distribution activities. Stellar served as the design-build firm, overseeing planning, pre-construction, architectural, structural design, and construction management. This project marks the first time Jack Link’s has incorporated this technology into its operations. The expansion aims to support the company’s future growth and meet increasing product demand.
