Delivery Method
The Wallace Creek Marine Mart includes a six-pump fuel island and Subway 鈥淢etro鈥� vendor space as well as a grab-and-go counter. Stellar completed the project two weeks ahead of schedule despite unprecedented rain delays and changes to the design. The retail area includes merchandise gondolas and reach-in cooler/freezer product displays. The new one-story building is constructed of brick veneer over CMU and supported on cast in place concrete foundations with a slab on grade. The hip roof has standing seam-metal roof panels and bears an array of photovoltaic panels that contribute up to 13% of the building鈥檚 overall energy requirements.
The building is LEED Silver and won an ABC Excellence Award and a Greener Tomorrow Award.
